People tend to reject change, but at the same time over 100,000 store owners use storefront and it seems woo forgets these individuals when making changes. As smart as woo engineers are they are unable to understand the importance of market testing and feedback. It would be nice if they implemented the large number of suggestions we all have submitted and voted on, instead of adding random design ideas. Like removing page icons : before is the first thing a new user looked for so why was it ever there. Some one spent hours writing code for the new storefront homepage and no one likes it, no one. I ask one person to respond if they like this. Adding content threw the editor is the only way most beginners can customize their site and after update of course it’s all jacked on them. Not
To mention a completely unnecessary edit button was added. This is crazy who thought of this, who add this. Really? Instead of adding features we ALL asked for you echo this! Most users google how to make page full width- many want to add full width content and only know how threw the post edit. And you guys shrink content on home page. I understand the features we all really want will most likely be add to a ” premium” plugin for users to enhance your bottom line, but please start thinking of your current patrons before making changes. And maybe spend more time adding options, customizations, and content to catering to those already loyal. I admirer the new desire to make things better, but slow down thing it threw and think of established users, and those without the means or know how to keep a stage site, test site, and production site. And check the engineering ego at the door. Stop making users buy so many plugins.

Struggling to get the column numbers to change on /shop/ ? anyone else stuck at 3 columns only?
TwentySeventeen theme works ok with 3 columns, 4 columns, 5 columns etc but not storefront ?
Since the update from 2.1.8 (This worked fine)
e.g this code does no longer work in functions.php? as advised…
// Change number or products per row to 5
add_filter(‘loop_shop_columns’, ‘loop_columns’);
if (!function_exists(‘loop_columns’)) {
function loop_columns() {
return 5; // 5 products per row
}
}
Your “WooCommerce Product Archive Customiser” plugin, does no longer work with the newer Storefront theme…. even the 2.2.4 just released…

after update to 2.2.3, styling of empty shopping cart widget in menu is gone, had to fix it with new CSS class definitions. after update to 2.2.2 whole look of menu (background color) and search box (height) has changed, you should inform about these little “additions” too in the changelog
