We’ve seen a good response to Beta 1 and fixed a few issues that you’ve found, thanks so much for alerting us to them. Every contribution helps make Storefront better and better.

Talking of making Storefront better, we’ve included one final significant change in our second Beta. We’ve revisited the typography one more time and decided to change the primary font family. Take a look:

We’ve chosen to replace Roboto with a cursive font many of you are probably familiar with; Comic Sans. The reason for this change is that we’ve learned that the majority of Storefront users are smaller stores. We felt it would help those stores demonstrate character, personality and a human element that would help them stand out alongside larger retailers.

This is the last change we’ll be making to Storefront 2.0.0 before (hopefully) shipping a release candidate next week.

As always, please open any issues you find on GitHub.

Over and out!
